My name is Sarah Vo. I’m an unlearner, growth & content marketer.
I’ve been using all my knowledge to unlearn what society told me. I work to figure out how to separate the signal from the noise and share my learnings so you can gain the most freedom with the least amount of wasted effort, and bring the most promising and disruptive ideas worldwide for maximum impact through whip-smart content.
Born in Vietnam, I moved to the United States in my early 20s. I spent my childhood and adolescence in the Vietnamese South Central Coast. An imaginative little kid, I often frolicked in the verdant playgrounds of city, dreaming of one day venturing beyond the white picket fence.
I attended college in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, occasionally escaping those bracing tropical summers by way of excursions through East Asia. I studied professional communications at RMIT, and I’ve worked in a diverse variety of industry segments as a content marketer to support go-to-market efforts, product launches, and branding-rebranding initiatives, positioning companies ranging from YMG, Dentsu, JWT, etc. to their clients for success.
After over 20 years in Asia I moved to the United States to chase the American Dream, and I’m currently a marketing associate (growth & content) at Vietnamese American Development – a nonprofit dedicated to young Vietnamese Americans, and contributor at Thrive Global & Morning Brew – one of the fastest-growing media startups in the country. My playground is a lot bigger now, but I still remind myself to stop and smell the roses every day.
On a personal note, I’m a big fan of painting, illustration, photography, architecture, fashion, beauty, gastronomy, movie, music, travel, home, and healthy living.
